Envitech has an impressive track record in installing Underground Gravity Sewers in Malaysia. Traditionally, open cut is widely adopted for sewer construction, repair or replacement. While this method serves its purpose, it is time-consuming, labour-intensive, and has its limitations. To overcome these limitations, we offer pipe jacking services with cutting-edge equipment of micro tunneling machines of sizes up to 1,800mm diameter. With our skilled professionals, we are able to provide solutions to installing underground gravity sewers virtually in all construction sites that include urban areas, established neighborhoods and congested areas, which realise substantial savings in capital and operational expenditure.

Micro Tunnelling or better known as Pipe Jacking is a trenchless construction method for installing gravity sewers or pipe sleeves for water mains or forcemains beneath environmentally-sensitive and populated areas. A jacking pipe, a highly-compressive strength pipe, is pushed through the soil by hydraulic jacks led by a fully mechanised tunnel boring machine from a jacking pit towards the receiving pit.
Pipe Jacking has become an increasingly popular form of sewer construction in recent years. Its benefits are especially apparent for replacement of aging gravity sewers in established neighbourhoods, laying of gravity sewers in areas with high water table, installation of sewers crossing underside busy highways, railways, rivers, etc.
At present, most of the local authorities have imposed the requirement on adopting pipe jacking for pipe/conduit laying works as to minimise social impact of site activities on the public.
Envitech Sdn Bhd successfully completed and handed over the Project Pakej D55 to Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan. In this project, approximately 14.5km pipe jacking works were timely completed for installation of sewer sizes ranging from 225 mm dia. to 1,350 mm dia. The works undertaken were well accepted by the residents in Taman Sentosa and Taman Sri Andalas with minimum interruption to their daily activities.
